Homepage Banner
The Homepage Banner solution was created to provide
Agencies options with their homepage banner than just a static image.
Homepage banners images should be:
- Default Image size: 1600 by 340 pixels
- Other option Image size: 1600 by 630pixels
- Images should be no more than 350KB (to help reduce the size, try ShortPixel)
- Images should be JPG to help with load time
Options include:
- Default: Image will be the previously selected Site Header Image
- Carousel: Images will rotate on a timed schedule
- Refresh: Image will be chosen at random each visit
- Seasonal: Image will change at the beginning of each season
Text can also now be added to each option:
- Header Text: Accepts 30 characters maximum
- Subtext: Accepts 40 characters maximum
- Button Text: accepts 10 characters maximum
- Button Description: Alt-description for button must include or begin with the screen text language (button text field). Example: if screen text for link in banner reads as “Read More”, then alt-description of link must read as “Read More about volunteering in your community” or similar.
